Hello there! Tried something a little different, a video lookbook for the jewelz. Thanks for looking and as always for your support, inspiration and giggles.
When Joshua Estrin is not discussing genetics with me he can be found interviewing celebs and dishing the facts, not the gossip at Popmuncher.com . He’s also on the Twitter.
I offer social media services such as putting together videos like this one and social strategy at Killer Social.
It’s 6 AM, I’m awake as usual, and it’s raining in Tampa. Me and my perfectly coiffed *eyeroll* hair will be at the Raymond James Stadium by 10. I’m excited to be covering the game, having been shown a great experience by Outback for 5 days previous to this including an insight to their business philosophy (disclaimer: I already knew their business philosophy) a tour and massive tasting at their R&D kitchen, a player event, a beach event, parade and a really great party. Not to mention fabulous food, weather and hospitality from their Social Media team all week.
There will be apprx. 3 more blog posts covering details with pictures and video.
Had an interesting direct message in my twitter box last night. Why does that sound dirty? LOL
A follower on twitter didn’t quite understand what I was doing at Outback Bowl.
For those of you who are confused, I’m happy to clarify.
( By the way, the game starts at 1:00 EST on ABC. The person who tweets me why they love Outback by 2:00 EST with the best answer will get a free $45 Outback GC! Use the #OutbackBowl hashtag and tweet it to @SueanneShirzay. )
Outback knows what their customers want and they do it. If they don’t know, they find out. If they do it wrong, they fix it. I’ll explain this in detail in future posts.
Sounds simple, right? It happens to be the exact same way I do business at Sueanne Shirzay Jewelry and Killer Social. Simpatico business souls. It’s about people.
Gotta run!
Please follow my tweets on twitter as I cover the pre-game and game!
Last night at a Michigan State University and University of Georgia Bowl-off at Splittsville, I got a chance to ask a few truly good sports a question… Thanks, Skyler, Jack, Nate, Ray, Chase and Blake for being so hilarious and such good sports and men with STYLE.
I also gave a $45 gift certificate to a great answer I got on twitter to the same question today.
Another giveaway tomorrow at 5:00 EST ! Follow me on twitter at @SueanneShirzay
You are all winners! Good Luck on Monday at Outback Bowl!
How about you? Which Outback food best describes YOUR personality???
Would you believe I won the Grand Prize trip from Outback Steakhouse to *journo* the Outback Bowl Game and the week of events leading up to the game using Social Media? Well, Hello, I DID! Outback is very generously flying me in to Tampa to cover the festivities from December 28th to January 2.
Oh, yes, and FOOTBALL! Tight ends meet split ends, Manolos meet muscle, baby! Right here.
I will leave no rib on the barbie unturned.
For me, this includes tweeting from @SueanneShirzay , my main twitter account, a little bit from @KillerSocial , because everywhere I go, Killer goes, (it’s a plastic knife, TSA, *wink* ) and of course @SueannesHair , because if I do what it says it won’t strangle me in my sleep,. I’m sure that do-gooder @Whatwedid4love will chime in here and again. My G+ pages will be running amuck amuck, amuck, amuck as well.
I’ll be blogging about Outback Bowl from Does this look good on me?, my style blog and Killer Social, my social media blog, if there is time. I guess this makes me the Sybil of Social Media , or in Aussie, *have my Kangaroos loose in the top paddock*, WOOOOOOT!
Please use this hashtag #OutbackBowl, follow when yammering on Google Plus and Twitter, so you can click on it, see what everybody else is saying and make some bonzer new friends! If there is something you want to know, just tweet me or ask me in the comment section of my blog or G+ page. To follow Outback or Outback Bowl click on the links!

Hi there! It’s 7/28, my birthday, and although I’ll be celebrating well into a week, hey, maybe even a month—there is a gift I am giving myself and that is… *What We Did 4 Love*. This new wing of Sueanne Shirzay Jewelry is something I have been wanting to do for years and currently features myself and jewelry artists Tina Tang and Beth Lerner. More will be joining. My goal is to have other types of handmade goods on the site other than jewelry.
10% of sales will go to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, whom I have worked with for the past year on other philanthropic jewelry projects. They are an amazing group of people who save lives every single day.

Ladies and gents, I was lucky enough to be invited to a Mother’s Day Top Picks event by the Accessories Council in NYC this year. There I was introduced to about a dozen fantastic gifts to present to your Mom in the event that you still want her to speak to you, or better yet, NOT speak to you at all except to tell you that you are fabulous and babysit when you go to Europe for a week to ten days at the drop of a hat.
Here are a few that impressed me the most:
I chatted with at length and loved the adorable beautiful and sweet Pam Fink from Good Charma. The Good Charma Bracelet is a keepsake piece of
good charma
jewelry ideal for any mom. It features genuine turquoise, lapis, red coral and pyrite gemstones with sterling silver and 22k gold vermeil nuggets. They are adorned with really cool heart charms. They can be found at Bloomingdales at a starting price of only $75. What I love most about these is that they are so lightweight and colorful! You can stack them, they look great, and you don’t even know they are there.
Sunglasses! Because of my baby blues, greens, or whatever the heck they are, I wear Sunglasses almost every day. Yes, even when it rains,
Calista by Michael Kors
You should too! Cuts down on the Botox. : ) Note: Hell, no, I don’t use Botox. Here is a great “No autographs, please” look by the chic Michael Kors. The Michael Kors collection launched a glamourous range of sunglasses named Calista. They actually come in two sizes, to better flatter your face. Whether your Mom is Edgy or a bit more understated, both shapes will work . Retailing at only $200 these are an absolute must with summer just around the corner.

The cleansing cream retails at $32 for a 16oz bottle and will last for ages. Always check their website for special offers and of course hair styling tips.
Last but not least from this event was this stunning piece by Judith Jack . Now look. By now you know how insanely picky I am. I never talk about anybody else’s jewelry unless I am REALLY

impressed. This necklace has gorgeous Mother of Pearl on the back of a faceted blue stone which is surrounded by genuine marcasite. I literally saw it and said “WOW”. It has an intricate sterling chain which can either be worn long at 36″or halved to hang at the neckline, 18″. I’m telling you, it’s Genius. It retails at $350 and is a perfect gift for any mom and can be found at Nordstrom and Von Maur.
Of course, if none of these really magnificent gifts works for your Mom, or you just really want to overwhelm her with your undying adoration, I am adding new jewelry to my own site every day, so have a peek there as well.
Remember, be good to your Mom, and those who ACT like your Mom.
